Informed by the moon and our own personal and collective reckonings, The Pause is a trauma informed, all-level Kundalini-infused yoga and meditation class. Think of it as your soft place to land: to take a beat, set it all down, and reconnect to what matters.
I believe the body says what words cannot. I created the The Pause Sessions because I needed a safe space to give myself permission to fall apart and FEEL; a sacred place to cry, to scream (FUCK!), to breathe, move, laugh and ultimately find my way back to that tender, loving wisdom that hovers over me and within me.
There’s nothing more powerful than gathering together to heal and feel and FREE ourselves of the unnecessary burdens we’ve inherited and continue to carry. You don’t have to be a human pretzel or ‘seasoned yogi,’ this practice is more of a ‘spiritual vitamin.’ So, come as you are and be open to the magic we create when we gather.
Together we bridge the science and the sacred through deliberate breathing techniques, postures, movements, and meditations that allow us to transform outdated thought patterns and beliefs, release pent-up emotions, rewire the nervous system for optimal health and embodiment, and listen for our body’s wisdom to feel, heal, and connect to a deeper level of true understanding and inner peace.
